Suddenly realizing that my problem is not *exactly* the same as the one which is
described in the initial post of this thread.
Here, emacs don't crash but goes in an endless loop
Steps to reproduce: (emacs started with "-Q")
* create text file outside of emacs
* open it in emacs buffer (C-x C-F)
* make minor modifications in emacs buffer
* "/bin/touch" the file outside of emacs
* M-x revert-buffer
-> emacs goes into endless loop
