Thanks for this attentive reading.

The intention was actually this, which should fix the issues you
mention:

"\\<[Mm]an[ \t\n]+page[ \t\n]+\\(?:for[ \t\n]+\\)?['`‘\"]\\([^'’\"]+\\)['’\"]")
