I can't imagine how a mouse click > could originate from a hidden buffer. `gnus-article-describe-key` is used for those keybindings which Gnus redirects from the buffer in which they occurred to some other buffer. So if you use such a redirection for mouse-clicks, `gnus-article-describe-key` would also want to look them up in the other buffer. Stefan
