bug#54058: 29.0.50; fido breaks rgrep and others

One again I get issues with fido completion.

M-x fido-mode
M-x rgrep <RET>
pattern <RET><RET><RET>

It never finds any match because in the second ref fido always selects
the current directory as ./ and we get:

find […] -exec grep --color=auto -i -nH --null -e defvar \{\} +

and this warning:

find: warning: ‘-name’ matches against basenames only, but the given
pattern contains a directory separator (‘/’), thus the expression will
evaluate to false all the time.  Did you mean ‘-wholename’?
