it did not, although I tried different ways to "provoke"
it. E.g. just now.
And actually the second frame (which's closing sometime
did crash Emacs) was an artefact of using
emacsclient --reuse-frame
which actually did not reuse the existing frame, but
opened another one, which is not what I want.
I now changed my scripts not to use --resuse-frame any
more and therefore I only rarely experience second
frames in real life.
I did not upgrade Emacs in order not to change to much
about my configuration in order to catch the bug again.
I think I now will build from newer sources.
So perhaps you want to close the bug? Should I
encounter the problem again, I could reopen it. What
would you prefer?
