I would play 23/18 to make O's 2s bad, then 4/3 to make a five point board.

    1. Cubeful 3-ply 23/18 4/3 Eq.: -1.123
       0.138 0.000 0.000 - 0.862 0.453 0.002
    2. Cubeful 3-ply 17/11 Eq.: -1.228 (-0.105)
       0.073 0.000 0.000 - 0.927 0.399 0.004
    3. Cubeful 3-ply 17/12 4/3 Eq.: -1.232 (-0.109)
       0.084 0.000 0.000 - 0.916 0.428 0.004

0-ply had the top move way down, in about 20th.

    1. Cubeful 0-ply 14/8 Eq.: -0.875
       0.185 0.000 0.000 - 0.815 0.309 0.005
    1. Cubeful 1-ply 23/22 17/12 Eq.: -0.977
       0.167 0.000 0.000 - 0.833 0.371 0.004
    1. Cubeful 2-ply 17/11 Eq.: -0.962
       0.156 0.000 0.000 - 0.844 0.327 0.006

Other stuff

I love the new features on the Hint window. (Windows build 020719), esp the
ability to upgrade the evaluation settings. I notice that you can't
downgrade them again, the higher ply settings are cached or something.
The results are remembered even if I create the position at a new location
in the game record. Ah! If I evaluate a different position the original
high-ply is lost and a lower-ply obtained.

In the Settings...Options, every time I press OK I get a popup window
telling me that I am already using Mersenne Twister RNG. This shouldn't
happen if I have not fiddled with it. (The new layout is much improved BTW.)

How come...
The position is set up by entering j/8AAMB0N0AEBg, but the game record
displays (Set Position 090AERiP/wAAAA)
