Please accept the attached gzipped patch file with a fix for a serious 
initialization bug in MT19937 which affected all uses of MT19937 that only 
required a PRN after seeding the generator (this means backgammon among 
other things).

This patch was to the 28 July source build on the gnu alpha server.
