Low priority: Sound in GNUBg
Using Dev-C++ (besides minGW), I noticed Dev-C++ had the SDL lib.
SDL = Simple Direct Media Layer and it supports Linux, Win32, BeOS, MacOS,
Solaris, IRIX, and FreeBSD.
The license is GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL)
The Info page:
http://www.libsdl.org/intro/toc.html
and an example for using sound:
http://www.libsdl.org/intro/usingsound.html
(on my PC - WinME, PIII 500, 256 MB - compilation and running went
smoothless)
