I have some rough code for setting the board design, but I'm not
satisfied with it in the current version, so I'll not commit anything
soon.
With respect to GTK skin I maintain the position that we should wait for
porting of the relevant GTK/GNOME application.
The current analysis settings are "hard-coded" in the application, but I
always had in mind that it should be possible to modify them and create
new ones.

It's already there. There is just no GUI equivalent.
