That's why! The discussion should be: Do we want it like this when
the Jacoby rule is enabeled?
I'd definitely say: No! (again).
It makes no sense, practically speaking, not to include gammons in the
cubeless equity. The cube will almost always get turned later, and if it
doesn't (very rare with good play), scoring a gammon which won't count
because of the Jacoby rule is almost impossible, with any kind of decent play.
I can't see any use for a cubeless equity that does not count gammons, like
GNUBG does. I'd appreciate it very much if this gets changed, it would also
make it easier to compare with all other bots.
