[Bug-gnubg] Board designs

Setting the cube colour:
If you just select a new cube colour, go to the Designs tab and save, the new
colour is not saved.
After setting the cube colour you have to OK out of the Appearance window, then
call it back up before you are able to save a setting with the new cube colour.

Cube number:
(a) It would be nice to be able to change the cube colour, and font.
((b) Some folks don't like the way the cube is now upside-down when Player (0)
owns it and side-on when the cube is centred. I'm not bothered, but perhaps
there should be a "cube faces owner" option for those who are.

Simplifying tabs:
I like the way the Board, Point (0) and Point (1) tabs have been combined. I
think it would be possible to further reduce the number of tabs, and thereby
improve the presentation.
(a) You could combine Chequers (0) and Dice (0) onto a single Player (0) tab.
Likewise for Player (1).
(b) Alternatively, you could have a single Chequers tab and a single Dice tab.
I have a slight preference for (a).
(c) You could combine the Board & Border tabs.
This would make it easier for the user to build and compare colour schemes.

Can't see Dice (0):
Dice (0) don't appear on the preview. You have to OK the design and make sure
Player (0) has rolled before you can see the effect. Can the Player (0) dice be
displayed, if not all the time then at least while editing them.

Navigation between tabs:
This one is a bit of a nicety. I intuitively tried clicking the preview on the
item I wished to change. Nothing happened. It would be cool to switch to the
correct tab if, for example, I clicked on a Player (1) chequer.

Mixed dice:
I don't know how it is elsewhere, but at UK tournaments most people seem to
prefer playing with one die of each colour. Perhaps this could be an option.

Textures:
Are you planning to add any other textures such as leather and marble?

Tab order:
Not sure on this one. Perhaps the Designs tab ought to be the default tab,
rather than the General. It's so much more exciting, and encourages you to
explore.
