Hi Achim,

I'm going to nitpick about the wording. I don't know what the politics are so I 
don't know whether it's a big deal or not.

1.4 What do I have to pay for GNU Backgammon? 
GNU Backgammon is Open Source Software and belongs to the GNU Project. You may 
download it for free. For more information see the GNU General Public License. 
But be aware that GNU Backgammon is not public domain software or shareware as 
you perhaps know from MS Windows. 

I don't think you should be using the term "open source" in the FAQ. My reading 
of the licences is that  the GNU GPL is a different thing. I think it should 
read:

GNU Backgammon is Free Software and ....

Don't make changes on my say-so, though. The developers should state their 
opinion.
