[Bug-gnubg] Problem loading software on to lap top

I have successfully installed 3DFiBs onto my PC, running Windows 98. I have
loaded the software onto my laptop running Windows XP Home Edition. I get
the follpwing error messages:

Error in showMiddleGameboard Type mismatch

Error in ProcessBoardOutput Type mismatch

These appear twic at every turn and make the game practically unplayable. Is
this a known problem and is there a solution?
