Here is what should be the final version. I'm short of time now so I'll
only send the PDF conversion to Nardy later. If anyone else prefers that
format, let me know. All of Nardy's comments were taken into account
(thanks) and I also added labels to the toolbar figure and I updated the
table of contents. If there are any errors, corrections, or omissions,
please let me know.
Albert

Hi Albert,
I somehow missed the Nackgammon and Hypergammon variations.
It's buried in the Playing Options description, but you're correct,
special mention must be made. An omission I'll fix.
(page 4, 'Where to get it')
The installation archive is 12 MB (at this time).
11.9 as I saw it, but 12 probably once Oystein has the new build up.
(page 5, image 'Most Recent builds')
The page will change today.
And the builds will not longer have the -yymmdd added to there
filenames.
So the GTK+ GUI build will be gnubg.exe, the CLI build
gnubg-nogui.exe,
the
'without FreeType' (to be abandoned soon, but still available)
gnubg_nofreetype.exe.
Ok, and good. I didn't like the need to add all these instructions,
but
due to the number of people asking me why their GNU won't run, felt
the
need to mention this.
(page 11 5) and 6))
You can also click on the small chequer next to the player's name to
set
the
turn.
(and you click on it first to alter a roll)
Same remark goes for (page 35 'If you wish to set...'
Completely forgot; will fix.
(page 39 'Conclusion')
The FSF survives mostly off ... isn't it: survives mostly of ?
No, the original is correct. Ex: I live off my salary.
(page 40 'Acknowlegements')
The name Jim Segrave is added. Between Montgomery and Thyssen.
Definitely.
Nardy
PS:
As my printer uses A4 paper, the page numbers can be erronous.
Mine does too. :-)
