Hi,
As some may already know via GammonLine or RGB, Michael Depreli
has been running a fascinating series in which all the bots are tested
on positions they themselves chose (by declaring them as errors) and
subsequently rolled out. GNU 0.14 continues to edge out Snowie 4 very
slightly as per the table attached.
All credit for the work involved in running the games, analyzing
them with ALL the bots, running rollouts, tallying the results, and
putting up some great quizzes in HTML *daily* at GammonLine, goes to
Michael Depreli alone. I included a small intro in which he answered
Chuck Bower on his methodology.
