What a bunch of European hooligans! Today is game 5 of the NBA finals. Anyone watching this?

The Americans have the right idea. When they invent a game, they don't teach
the rest of the world how to play it and then get beat. Football, rugby,
cricket, squash, tennis ... At least we're still good at curling and snooker.

And they call the winners "The world champions"!

After the Monica lewnsky incident:

Attributed to John Cleese -
The three differences between American and British people:

    * "We speak English and you don't."
* "When we hold a World Championship for a particular sport, we invite teams from other countries to play, as well." * "When you meet the head of state in Great Britain, you only have to go down on one knee."

And BTW, the Women Squash world champion is (Was?) Carrol Owen, of New Zealand. I think she retired as World NO 1 last year, Undefeated ...
