The solution is:

1. Select the move where you wanted a cube hint.
2. Press the green back arrow in the gamelist.
3. Then click the green "forward" button. This will take you to the geame
record before your dice was rolled, and hence give you a cube decision
hint.
4. Press the 'Hint' button.

Does this help?

Question to developers and users:
Should the green back arrow step backwards in the same way as the forward
arrow? I mean, stepping into both cube decisions and move decisions, just
like the forward button does?
