I have some more info:

I cleared the 'LINGUAS' file and then I could build gnubg.

This is strange because I have built gnu on 2 other systems, both running Ubuntu, and I didn't get this problem on either of them. I used the same configure settings on all pc's.
The only thing I can think of that is different, is that the 2 other systems were running 64bit Ubuntu, and the one that gave the problem 32 bit.

This suggests missing gettext or gettext-devel.

Hi All,

I downloaded today's cvs snapshot and tried to build gnubg from it on my Ubuntu pc.
After running ./autogen.sh and  ./configure --enable-sse --enable-threads --without-timecontrol --without-board3d --without-gdbm
, which all went ok, I tried to run make.
This aborted with the following error:

Indeed there is no file 'de.gmo', there is a 'de.po' and a 'da.gmo' though.
Can anybody help me out?

Thanks,
Misja
