I've doubled checked on windows and g_get_user_data_dir actually points to the 
my documents folder (which is an ideal place to save matches), the existing 
g_get_home_dir points to the base user directory which isn't the place to put files.

So g_get_user_config_dir()/gnubg is the right place for the settings on windows.

Where do these point to on Unix?
