I just tried again with latest code, GMT (you're right, gmt - gthreads,
wmt = win threads) crashes doing the following:

1. run GUI exe
2. click on red cross (top right corner of window) to close it

Closing it during a match works fine. Looks like a kind of init problem ...

It happens on my office PC (Win XP), I'll check at home if I remember.

MaX.

Tried running your 0612 GMT and WMT. Both act the same under Vista 32 bit... If I launch the gui versions and then hit the red X in the upper right to close gnubg.. It exits without a crash. Tomorrow when I have a chance I’ll try it with XP. I did try 3d, 2d, fast draw (on and off), and tried with animated board closing (option) on both WMT and GMT – same result.

It does sound like an initialization problem – and could have something to do with differing DLL’s?
