I don't do Windows builds, but from what you say... I can only imagine that you don't have gtk-devel (or equivalent) installed in your environment (Gtk-devel contains gtk.h and all other gtk header files). I know people have been been building mingw builds up until recently. I have CC'ed Max on this in the event he might have some suggestions.

following command from setupvars.bat fails
if EXIST c:\gnu\mingw\include\gtk-2.0\gtk\gtk.h goto gtkok
because
c:\gnu\mingw\include\gtk-2.0\ does not exist, though
C:\gnu\MinGW\lib\gtk-2.0\include does exist, as does
C:\gnu\MinGW\etc\gtk-2.0\ but
gtk.h does not exist anywhere. still seems like the dev batch files don't work with the latest glade install.

i would like to fix the problems i reported, but if i can't compile i'll probably go back to using the 2005 version.
