If if works satisfactorily, would it be possible for you to build an 
installable package like the one for 10.5 on www.gnubg.org and have it 
uploaded there ?

I don't use or have access to Macs, but until Pierre's post, all the 
reports I had noticed in this list or elsewhere were that the Leopard 
package didn't work on the more recent OS. A true 10.6 package surely 
would work more seamlessly (and include two years of improvements).
