As for VNC, you could use VNC server on one machine running GNUBG, allow
the remote player to VNC in and play that way (Human vs Human mode) but
I don't know if that is what you intended. That would be the same as
setting up Human vs Human play on the same machine.
I assume you are aware that GNUBG does allow human vs human play on the
same copy of GNUBG. Click "New Match", select Human vs Human, and then
you take turns making your moves.
