That external interface is not designed for peer to peer play.

Your best bet is to play on a having server such as fibs.com gridgammon.com or even yahoo.com

I would like to play against my son using 2 computers. I saw that an external player can be set and I read some posts about the socket and puting gnub in listen mode. But it is not working, the screen is most of the time gray. 

Am I doing something wrong or what I'm trying is not possible?
