I'm not sure what you mean here. You can save a match with File / Save and
add its result (usually after analysing it) to a database with Analyse /
Add match or session to database.

The second command adds some summary results in a standard database
(sqlite, mysql or postgresql, see Settings / Options / Database) but there
is almost nothing in gnubg itself to use this data. You would need a
minimal knowledge of SQL and/or some third-party query tool.

Hello,

Pretty please could these 4 toggle options be added somewhere in the 'Options' section?

I think they would be extremely useful and improve User Experience

1. Auto-analyse after each match? - YES / NO
2. Auto-display analysis after running analysis? - YES / NO

(n.b. regarding #2 - i can see that v1.05.000-mingw 32-Bit 20150725  has the extremely helpful 'auto-display of the resulting analysis, after running analysis' feature implemented after my previous suggestions a couple of years ago. However, it's still not a selectable YES/NO option AFAIK. I guess one would want this feature 'YES' all the time, but re-requested for consistencies sake..)

3. Auto-add each analysed match to gngbg database on completion - YES / NO
4. Auto-save each analysed match (*.sgf) to hard drive on completion - YES / NO

Hello, Philippe Michel are you the best person to ask to get these requests implemented? If not, who is?

You suggested using SQL to query the database. This process could produce insights into interesting player characteristics.

Addition of automated features would make the db population process a lot more efficient, rather than having to rely on human memory to do multiple clicks through the menu after each and every match (of which you might play thousands over time).

With thanks and regards.
