Could you clarify what you monitored and how you deduced the dice rolls 
were not from random.org ?

Do you mean the rolls don't match the numbers generated by random.org ? 
The connection is using https, so it is difficult to verify from the 
outside what was pulled from there.

Or do you mean the connection is not to random.org ? If I try to use it 
as RNG, Immediately after that, I can see that a connection to this site 
had been established:

> netstat -4W
Active Internet connections
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address          Foreign Address        (state)    
tcp4       0      0 192.168.42.5.15895     104.20.45.7.https      TIME_WAIT  

On the other hand, www.random.org apparently doesn't have reverse DNS 
records. That's why one sees its address instead of its name in the 
above output.
