Hi turellg and welcome to GnuCOBOL, as configure shown on the attached image complains about GnuCOBOL not finding a working gmp.h on cygwin I'd assume the GMP components (likely the "dev" part) is not installed correctly. Note: If you don't have a very specific reason to use cygwin (which would mainly be reasonable if you have other POSIX programs you already run there or want to change the GnuCOBOL sources) I'd suggest to use either MinGW or (for a much better experience in nearly all areas) Bash on Windows using Debian or Ubuntu. If you just want to "install and use" GnuCOBOL on your machine I'd suggest to use the binaries provided by Arnold Trembley who provides the official Windows MinGW builds [1]. If you want to go on with the cygwin route: make sure you've installed the appropriate cygwin packages according to the README with the cygwin setup.exe. Last note: While 2.2 is still the last release-version the newer 3.0-rc1 (never got a real release) is considered to be much better and stable in most areas. The same can be said for the 3.1 dev, you can get a ready-to-build tarball from the CI builds.
