It's a close call. I know that the Perl hackers have been adding
SunOS 4 fixes recently (i.e., last month), and likewise for OpenSSL
(June), but I don't know who's using the results. On the other hand,
the MIT Kerberos Team dropped support for SunOS 4 recently (for
example, they now do free (NULL) without worrying about it.)

The last-ship date for Solaris 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 (both based on SunOS 4)
was 1998-09-30. Sun still supports it until the end of this month.
(Maybe that's why Bill Joy is leaving Sun now? :-)

SunOS 4 is getting a bit long in the tooth, but I think enough people
still use it actively that I'd rather wait a couple of years more.
(Besides, I'm getting burned out installing all these trivial changes....)
