autopoint makes a great effort to provide .m4 files that are known to
work together with the po/Makefile.in.in stuff. But here we are clearly
dealing with experimental overlap between gnulib-tool and autopoint.
I hope a more extensible autoconf/automake combination will someday
integrate all of gnulib-tool, autopoint, gettextize, libtoolize...
In other words, I see no better solution than to temporarily rename
the files before and after the 'autopoint' invocation.
