Could you please explain why?
As I understand it, the utime module is needed only for ancient
4.3BSD-based systems where the utime function mishandles NULL
arguments. Such systems are no longer in use (and haven't been for
years -- I think the last holdout may have been NextSTEP).
I was actually thinking of removing the module, since it is overly
conservative for cross-compiles.
