We're trying to make it useful again.  Two other maintainers (Polzer for
parted and Mellon for mcron, as I recall) recently asked there for
proofreading help, per the maintainers document.  If the world cup isn't
over (forgive my ignorance :), maybe you could look at those?

Yes.  Are there inconsistencies?  I wasn't clear that that was what was
being fixed.

    It's an acronym that is not a pronounceable word.  Though this is by no
    means a rule I know of, I know very few such abbreviations that aren't
    capitalized, in en_US writing, that is.

You're right in principle, but when it occurs multiple times per
sentence, it gets more distracting than helpful to have all caps
everywhere, IMHO.  Anyway ...
