I think you meant PGP/MIME (RFC3156), S/MIME doesn't use PGP at all,
but yes, I agree with the suggestion.

Sorry, yes I did.

Inline PGP signature have several problems (see
<http://josefsson.org/inline-openpgp-considered-harmful.html>).

Memory jogged by this, I decided to have another try at getting my mailnotify shell script to post PGP/MIME mails... and (with a peek at the my muttrc to find the right switches for gpg) mission accomplished :-) I'll merge back
into libtool after the release.
