Hi Karl,

Thanks; this is useful, of course.

Since modification of these files is not allowed by the consumer, may I ask
for three kinds of whitespace modifications?

  - Replacing tabs with spaces. Tab width is not universally 8; it is 4 or 2
in many Windows editors, and is 4 by default in Eclipse, even under Linux.
This is how the COPYINGv3 file looks like in Eclipse on Linux. (Screenshot
    attached.)
While hackers know how to configure their editor to a tab width of 8,
license files are often also looked at by non-hackers.

  - Removing trailing spaces (COPYINGv3 lines 79, 512, and COPYING.LESSERv3
lines 13, 114). I'm sure Jim will vote for this too :-)

  - Centering the title lines equally. Here is the current middle column of
    the title lines:

         file line middle column (0-based)

        COPYINGv3 1 33
                              2 34.5
                              8 32
                             71 33
                            621 34.5
                            623 34.5

        COPYING.LESSERv3 1 35.5
                              2 34.5
