I object to the use of term "SCM", because - as you can see from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/scm - the term SCM also means "Software
Configuration Management", hence is ambiguous.

Also, I prefer the term "version control" or "version control system",
because that's more to the point than "source code management" or
"source control management".

In general, more people know about CVS than git, and more people
have the "cvs" program installed than the "git" program. Therefore here
I would continue to mention that gnulib is available via CVS.
