Insufficient. For example, m4 1.4.12 was released in the middle of a
month (Oct 10); it depends on gnulib patches that were released after Oct
1, but is not necessarily compatible with the state of gnulib on Nov 1.
Debian's attempt to force m4 to use a different version of gnulib than
what I released with is likely to introduce bugs into the Debian build of m4.
