Thanks, I'm currently catching up with over 4 months of mailing lists,
and probably not paying as much attention to those details as I should! :(

Well, the *net* result is good enough.  It would be better if autoconf
didn't add -std to CFLAGS twice though...

Agreed.  I was less than half serious with my 'seems like a regression'
comment :)  It's unfortunate that ac_cv_header_inttypes_h has to be primed,
but it's a small price to pay for such an old platform.
