Thanks for the vigilance! Yes, such a patch is welcome.
So that it does not interrupt the (usually sorted) list of HAVE_* substitutions:
can you move the break point between the two commands to be between the
GNULIB_* and HAVE_* substitutions? That's nearly in the middle, in all 3 cases.
