Updated and completed patches to regex.texi

Attached, a revised patchset, now with POSIX documentation removal, as promised.

I believe I've now made all the edits to regex.texi that I said I
would. Once these patches have been processed, I'm sure it could do
with reading through and tidying up a bit; I'll see if I can do that
too.
