I think it'd be fine to do that, and wouldn't be abusing the "News"
section. Perhaps the "News" section should contain a brief pointer
to the real thing, rather than the whole thing? The whole thing could
be put into the gnulib manual, perhaps. (I don't know how planet.gnu.org
works; I never read it I'm afraid.)
