Ah.  Somehow the source wound up being via the git:// protocol
instead of ssh://.  Oops.  Thank you.

Shouldn't it be grandfathered?  I very, _very_ strongly
prefer the tab-indented here docs.  It makes the scope of the
command *much* clearer.
