Not sure whether Gnulib simply syncs those files from Gettext, in
which case applying the patch to the Gettext repository should be
enough.  Otherwise, we might wait fro advice from the gnulibers,
before diving deeper into the question.

In any case, I'd apply the patch to Gettext ASAP, to smooth the
way for Automake 1.14; follow-ups regarding Gnulib can come later,
if needed.
