Ouch, okay. I can't work out if the problems I'm experiencing (for
example [1]) are due to my misunderstandings, bugs in my package, bugs
in gnulib, bugs in gettext, bugs in the external build systems, or
something else. I prefer not to change anything (including reverting
back to using 'gettext' module, that I stopped using a long time ago)
until I understand what is going on. I don't understand when to use the
'gettext' module and when to use the 'gettext-h' module, except that the
Status: obsolete drive me away from gettext and things appear to be
working relatively well with gettext-h.
