Hi,
I was following http://www.gnu.org/software/gnupod/gnupod.html#SEC6 to
convert a new ipod nano to vfat, and when I did the dd if=/dev/sda2
of=backup_firmware it didn't result in a 32meg file, but instead it
wanted to create a multi-gig file, likely the entire data partition? If
I tried to do sda1 instead it was only 248k.
Any ideas? I'm hesitant to go forwards and wipe everything until I know
for sure.
Thanks,
micah
