Subject: | [Bug-gnupod] FirewireGuid and windows - no nano3g menus after update even when using correct hash key. |

Hi
Looking at updating my iPod nano 3g with Gnupod, I
compiled the perl on Windows XP and then took my iPod FirewireGuid from the
windows registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Disk\Enum as it provides
the value I need within the following string:
USBSTOR\Disk&Ven_Apple&Prod_iPod&Rev_1.62\000A27001A29135B&0
when writing back the xml file with this value,
Gnupod reports:
> Loading ArtworkDB...done
> Parsing XML document... > 185 files parsed, assembling iTunesDB... > Creating iPod playlists... > Hashing database for iPod GUID '0x000a27001a29135b' > Writing new iTunesShuffle DB > Updating Sync-Status The menus on the nano3g still show no entries and I
was wondering if I need to change anything else in the source code for it to
hash correctly?
Regards
Chris
