DPS/NX Question

I have a simple question about Display Ghostscript.  I don't know if this is
the correct place to direct such a query, but I'll give it a try.

I would like my application to create a DPS context within the server's DPS
extension if it available.  I want to use dgs only as a last resort if it the
DPS extension is not available.  If I link my application with libdga.a,
which contains all of Alladin Display Ghostscript, will I always be using
Ghostscript, and never Adobe's Display Postscript that is built into the server?
