I don't have a Solaris 8 system so I don't know much about these problems,
but I can suggest how to tackle them at least ...

Maybe you should start looking for libwraster.so.2 ... do you have it
somewhere on the system, or you don't it at all ?

if you have it, why is it not finding it ?

if you don't have it, why is it looking for it (an error during the
configuration in core/back ?)

trying to answer these questions might help you find the problem, or at
least gather some more information which you can report and which might
help someone else to spot and fix the problem.
