Please excuse the bandwidth,

I only checked per ViewCVS sorted by 'Age' *without* specifing the 
branch, as I thought it would consider the date for *any* branch if the 
"Show files using tag '- Branches -'" was selected... I was wrong :-(
As far as I'm concerned, request can be closed.  I just wanted to make 
sure it doesn't get lost.
