I have found that there is NSApplication + (void)detachDrawingThread:(SEL)selector toTarget:(id)target withObject:(id)argument. What is its purpose? Should not it be, that this method will create another thread, and appkit will be aware of that tread so it can perform drawing operations? Stefan
