If you find anything wrong with them, let me know so that we can make them
better.  They work for me now.

Possibly this problem you had with NSTimeZones not being there is a
left-over from your previous installation attempt.  If you have reasons to
think that the installation is messed up, my suggestion remains to delete
your current gnustep installation, get the latest gnustep-make and
gnustep-base and rebuild / reinstall from scratch.
