Committed to the release branch.
I think we can commit this to the branch. Especially since these are (or may be) useful for GDL2 users. I don't want base-1.8.0 to be obsolete before it's released.
Well, it's not necessarily needed by GDL2, but it's useful for people using GSObjCRuntime functions in +load, but none the less, the guile tests passed.
Anyway, I'll probably make another pre-release next week.
Thanks for the warning. I'll see if I can get some more testing of the branch done.
